With over 10 years of experience in the banking and consulting sectors, I have developed strong leadership skills, leading teams of (senior) experts and gaining extensive experience in employee development. Besides, I have a proven track record of managing complex national and international projects in large, multifaceted organizations.
My expertise spans AI, Data Strategy, Data Protection, Data Governance, Audit, Finance, and Regulatory Compliance.
Currently, I lead a team in data protection, ensuring that ING delivers innovative, trustworthy solutions to its clients and employees. My focus is on the provision of efficient data protection processes and on the offer of appropriate legal advice.
At the same time, I am managing a project to roll out an AI strategy, starting with the implementation of the EU AI Act, followed by the implementation of AI use cases as well as awareness and training initiatives.
I also organize an AI Roundtable, hosted by ING and PwC, which is attended by over 10 national banks.
I am passionate about driving innovation and the synergy between innovation and compliance.
