Michael Dahlweid, MD, serves as Chief Technology and Innovation Officer at the “Insel Group”, the largest Swiss healthcare organization. Previously, Michael did work for global companies in executive roles, such as chief medical officer for GE Healthcare, CSC Healthcare, and AGFA. Additionally, he was running international large-scale software operations in healthcare, too. Michael received his M.D., Ph.D. in Germany, and his business education in the U.K. While still seeing patients in emergency care, he also teaches healthcare information management and design thinking. His current academic focus deals with healthcare related artificial intelligence topics.
