SWICA
Fabian Ringwald is driving the digital transformation on a strategic level as CIO and member of the executive board of SWICA since 2020. With his multi-industry yet society oriented background he brings a well-rounded mix of different perspectives in combination with a passion for strategy, transformational leadership and digital transformation. Prior to his role at SWICA he was active in different roles at SBB & SBB Cargo, BKW Energie, CGI, Siemens, Ravensburger and several startup endeavors – always creating value by driving the digital transformation of the various business models and industries. Since 2025 he is a member of the non-executive board of SWICA Health.
Fabian has a master’s degree in computer science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), an executive MBA from Rochester-Bern and a micro-master’s degree in supply chain management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Outside the digital world, Fabian is sourcing energy from being an ultra-trail runner with a neck for long mountain runs with lots of steep inclines and downhill tracks.
